Paddle Clinic is OPEN for registration! South County
This clinic will help you recognize which muscle groups to actually use to prevent injuries, create a stronger, more efficient paddle and up your wave count, as a result. Those of you who do not know me, I teach a workout called Surfilates TM and paddling was my weakest link to my surfing. Through years of trial and error, I developed a class based on Pilates applied to surfing and it is hard and fun! Now that I have a rotator cuff tear and no surgery, I added Applied Functional Science exercises to the class. This technique compliments Pilates and surfing!
COVID Rules: We will be working out outside. Please wear a mask to the clinic. I will space you out 6 ft. apart. while working out so that you can take your mask off. I won't be bale to touch correct so I will demonstrate as best as possible.
We will specifically work out on land on the paddling section of the class with some ab work, of course, and then take it to water immediately to apply what we learned on land. The water is flat so I can evaluate your paddle stroke and where it is coming from. We will practice, practice and practice and might do relays to make it fun! This is open to all level surfers.
Cost is $20 limit 5 people
