San Diego Surf Ladies Host One-Year Anniversary Event

Solana Beach, CA – To mark the end of a roller coaster first year, the San Diego Surf Ladies (SDSL) are hosting a one-year anniversary party on Saturday, Feb. 12 to celebrate.

The event will take place at Board member Johanna Anderson’s home in Solana Beach and begins at 6 p.m.

Members of SDSL are providing a wide array of food and drink potluck style for the event. In addition, various companies within the surf industry are providing donations for a raffle. A “Create-a-Tee” table will be set up with spray paint and markers for attendees to remember the occasion.

The San Diego Surf Ladies first made waves Feb. 2004 in part by Jennifer James, president, who felt the need to create a group to aid in her surfing progression. Since then, over 150 San Diego women surfers have joined SDSL to further their enrichment and to make new friends.
